Finding the right therapist is a little bit like finding the perfect tramping boot. People can make recommendations and swear that this or that brand is “the best” but really, it always comes down to what feels good on your feet.

The same applies with trying to find a therapist. At Tiny Bird Therapy we recommend an initial session to discuss what’s going on for you and how we may be able to help. Usually it takes 6-10 sessions to work through the big issues in life (sometimes more, sometimes less), however, there is no commitment required beyond the initial session. If you don’t feel like we’re heading in the right direction then it’s okay to let us know. We may even have recommendations of other professionals that might be a better fit.
